Channel names can be entered separately for each activated language when creating or editing a channel. The default-language name is required; names in other languages are optional.

Channel translations can include a localized name, an “about” description, or both. Entries with neither are rejected. Livestream and video responses use the channel name translated into the requested language when available, and retain the default name otherwise.
